Description
Gelatin is a product of animal origin, a natural sticky mass, the result of processing animal collagen. This is a kind of natural glue, a biopolymer, which is used not only in the food industry and cooking, but also in many other areas of the national economy. For example, in pharmaceuticals, cosmetology, biology, production of film and photographic equipment, and many other technological processes. Without gelatin, it is impossible to make artificial pearls.
Useful properties: characterized by an excellent composition: glycerin, lysine, proline, alanine, various amino acids. Despite the small variety of microelements in it, they are present in fairly large quantities. Among other things, the yellow powder contains a lot of protein and some fat and carbohydrates.
It also improves the functioning of the gastrointestinal tract, has a regenerating property, which means it is suitable for people with various injuries, and is an excellent source of protein.

Application: In cooking, gelatin is used mainly for making jelly. A variety of aspics – meat, fish and vegetables in jelly, confectionery products such as marmalade, pastille, marshmallows, soufflé and mousses – all this is done mainly using edible gelatin.
In dishes: jellied meat, aspic, jelly.
In confectionery products: jelly, soufflé, mousse, cream, marmalade, marshmallows, cakes. cakes, cheesecake.
Non-alcoholic drinks: jelly, cocktails.
In distilling and brewing: alcoholic marmalade, cocktails.
Instructions: dilute only in cold liquid: boiled water, milk, broth, juice – depending on what dish is being prepared. Gelatin filled with liquid swells for about half an hour to an hour.
Dosage: 20-40 g/liter, depending on the dish being prepared.
